Previously I won back-to-back Asimov's Readers' Poll Awards and Rhyslings for the poems "why goldfish shouldn't use power tools" and "egg horror poem." I've also won other awards and honorable mentions from the National Federation of State Poetry Societies.

Random Details

I belong to a black cat named Panther who weighs 13 pounds and is not fat.

I love tea and drink about ten cups every day—sometimes more. (It's really good for you, especially green tea.)

I believe in always signaling turns when I'm driving, and wish more people would do the same (pretty please? for me?)

I put over 63,000 miles on my car before I'd had it for two-and-one-half years.

I love to travel. I've been to Australia and Peru and France and Italy and Canada and Ireland and Scotland and this list is going to grow.

I think almost everyone can be more creative than they think they can and I believe peace is possible and it's up to us to make a difference every day.

Remember to breathe.
